Saddle Fusion

FUSIONMASTER® saddle fusion kits are manufactured to fuse tapping saddles to PE gas mains. Kits comprise a saddle press, hot plate with non-stick coated saddle and socket tools, and a carry case.

FUSIONMASTER® saddle fusion kits are configured to suit specific Australian field requirements for mains pipe up to 125mm.

Saddle presses are available with pipe clamps for:

1. 63mm PE pipe, with optional 40nb, 50nb, 32mm, 40mm and 50mm reducing liners.
2. 110mm PE pipe, with optional 40nb, 50nb, 40mm, 50mm and 63mm reducing liners.
3. 125mm PE pipe, with optional 110 reducing liners.

* nb means nominal bore in millimetres.

Teflon® coated tools are available for fusing tapping saddle fittings to 40nb, 50nb, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 63mm, 110mm and 125mm PE pipe.

Dixon Industries is a Licensed Industrial Applicator of Du Pont's range of "Teflon"® products and provides a re-coating service for socket and saddle tool non-stick surfaces.
