Welding machines

Dixon Industries has been in operation since 1973. For over a quarter of a century the Company has designed, manufactured and distributed butt welding machines which have been the first choice of Australian polyethylene pipe installers in gas, mining, telecom, water, and civil installations.

The product sells under the trademark FUSIONMASTER® and is built entirely at the Dixon plant in South Australia. FUSIONMASTER machines have achieved a reputation for excellence of engineering, ease of use, and the ability to survive in the toughest of Australian conditions, with equipment over 20 years old still operating in the field.

Teflon coatings

Non-stick coatings are essential to the performance of some welding machine components, so we had to learn how to apply Teflon® because no such service existed locally. As others became aware of our skill, external "Teflon" coating sales began to grow. Eventually the Company was appointed a Licenced Industrial Applicator (LIA) of Du Pont's range of "Teflon" coatings. It is the only LIA in South Australia, and one of over 100 others around the world.
